MGPC Episode 81 "We Got a Deadline People!!"

Sat, 06/29/2024 - 13:00

Welcome to Episode 81 of The Modelgeeks Podcast!  In this episode, we kick off with what we are in work on, what new items are out there, and what we have picked up lately. After a few consecutive episodes being down a man, D-Ran is back in front of the mic along with the whole crew. El-Presidenté will tell us “What’s New in 72!”, and we’ll end with a discussion on DEADLINES! Some like a deadline to keep them on track, while others despise them and stay well clear of any reason to set one.

We would like to thank all you listeners out there for the continued support you have given the show. We hope to see you out and about as we hit more of the shows coming up this busy 2024 as well as at the Nats in Madison Wisconsin. If you happen to see us at a show, set up at our table come on over and say hello, we may even put you in front of the mic!

MGPC Episode 80 "Transporting models and how do you pack them".

Sat, 06/15/2024 - 08:00

Welcome to Episode 80 of The Modelgeeks Podcast!

In this episode, the Modelgeeks discuss how they pack and transport their models.  The same process can be used to store your models as well. Frilldo takes the geeks for a lap in the pattern with an update on the Privateer, trying to avoid having to buy dinner for the other geeks.  The rest of the geeks give an update of what is on their benches and do a run down of the email and a recap on the FB Model Geeks Model shack page.

For the main topic, the geeks discuss what they use to build the containers that they use and other materials to safely transport or store your models with the Nats coming right around the corner.  The geeks even tell a few TSA horror stories.

We would like to thank all the listeners for the continued support you have given the show. We hope to see you out and about as we hit some of the shows or if you decide to come visit ours in October. If you can't make it to the shows then you can still interact with us through social media, Facebook, Instagram, and email:  contact@modelgeekspodcast.com
